PokerStars signs Neymar Jr as newest brand Ambassador

One such offering on a global expansion path is online Poker gaming operator PokerStars, who has continuously broadened and added new fresh appeal and robust interest into their services and offerings.
One such fresh appeal is the signing of Leading Brazil and Barcelona FC footballer Neymar Jr, who has recently been named as a brand ambassador for Amaya PokerStars. Amaya’s chief executive and chairman, David Baazov says that the strategic signing of Neymar Jr is a lucrative investment to assist in the growth appeal of poker globally. He further commented saying: “Neymar Jr is a young and extremely charismatic megastar who loves interacting with fans on social media, is comfortable on camera and loves the game of poker.” “As a superstar with one of the world’s most famous football clubs and football nations, his appeal is global.” “This partnership is a great opportunity to market the game of poker across the globe and attract new fans.”
Brazilian Captain and Barcelona FC footballer, Neymar Jr commented saying: “Growing up and playing football everyday has made me a competitive person.” “When I’m not playing football, playing poker and competing against my teammates on the road or in home games with friends is one of my favourite things to do.”
Neymar Jr is now joining the ranks of high profile sporting personalities as brand ambassadors for PokerStars including former Brazilian footballer Ronaldo, world number one seeded tennis player Rafael Nadal and Dutch Olympic gold medallist field hockey player, Fatima Moreira de Melo.
